Q ~ 	What is the minimal operating system that the Port	Juggler supports?
A ~	 Mac OS 7.5.1 and later.

Q ~ 	Why does AppleTalk now have “Port Juggler” selected in the Chooser?
A ~  	As long as you have a LocalTalk device connected to the	Port Juggler, AppleTalk will be active and managed by	Port Juggler.  This will not affect the other serial devices connected 	to the Port Juggler.  Do not toggle the AppleTalk buttons in 	the Chooser.

Q ~ 	Can Port Juggler be simultaneously connected to more than one device?
A ~ 	No, Port Juggler is an electronic switching device.  Only one device connects at a time.

Q ~  Can you connect a printer to a Port Juggler on the modem port?
A ~  Yes, if it is a serial printer. If it is a LocalTalk printer, then you will have to be running Open Transport as well as have the "AppleTalk" Control Panel assigned to the modem port.

Q ~  Does Port Juggler detect an incoming fax call?
A ~  No, it is the fax software in the Mac that is constantly checking the modem for an incoming call.  For this reason fax modems should be on a port by itself or connected to Port Juggler’s Port 1, to get maximum connection time.

Q ~  How is Power Port Juggler's power supplied?
A ~  Power Port Juggler draws it’s power from the 9th-pin of the serial 	port.

Q ~  Why do I not see the “virtual ports” within my port setting of my fax or PaperPort or Wacom software?
A ~  You will only see the “virtual ports” when you have either the fax or PaperPort or Wacom assigned to the Port Trigger List to	Port 1 and after you have restarted. Another possible reason that a virtual port may not be available, is if the Port Juggler software is not properly installed.

Q ~  What is the maximum baud rate that Port Juggler 	supports?
A ~  Port Juggler supports the maximum baud rate supported by the Macintosh.

Q ~  Can you daisy-chain a Port Juggler to another Port Juggler?
A ~  No, but you can attach two Port Jugglers, one to the modem	port and another to the printer port, giving you a total of 8	ports.
